01What you need first
- An Instagram professional account (Business or Creator). Switch in Settings → Account type and tools.
- A Facebook Page linked to that Instagram account. Meta only lets scheduling tools publish through a linked Page.
- Your images or videos in the right format: JPEG images, MP4 videos, ideally 4:5 for feed posts.
02Scheduling with SuperForge
- Open Content → Social and connect Facebook and Instagram.
- Click New post and upload your media.
- Write a caption, or click Write with Forge AI to draft one with hashtags.
- Pick Instagram, Facebook or both, then choose a date and time.
- Click Schedule. SuperForge publishes it on time and shows the status.
03When to post
There's no universal best time. Check Instagram Insights for when your followers are online, post consistently, and compare results after a few weeks. For many Indian audiences, evenings and lunch hours work well, but your data beats any rule of thumb.
04Writing better captions
- Lead with the hook in the first line; it's all people see before 'more'.
- Say one thing per post.
- End with a clear call to action.
- Use a handful of relevant hashtags, not 30 generic ones.

06Questions
Can you schedule Instagram posts for free?
Instagram lets professional accounts schedule posts in the app and in Meta Business Suite. Tools like SuperForge add AI captions, a shared calendar and your CRM in one place.
Why can't I schedule posts to my Instagram account?
Most often the account is personal rather than professional, or it isn't linked to a Facebook Page you manage.
